Delete a Game Master account
Online community accounts only. This does not uninstall the app or erase campaigns on anyone’s device.
A Game Master account is optional. It is only for Find Campaigns, Find Groups, My Groups, Join Campaign, in-app notices, Live Now and related community features. LAN play, Internet Join Codes, My Characters, Tabletop Mode and How to Play work without one. Account and community data is stored for us by Supabase in East US (North Virginia), United States (us-east-1).
In the app
- Open Game Master and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account.
- Read what will be removed, then type DELETE to confirm.
That removes your account, profile, campaign listings, memberships, join requests, blocks and in-app notices from our servers. A group you own passes to its longest-standing moderator, or, if it has no moderator, to its longest-standing other member, who becomes the owner. A group with nobody else in it is deleted. Reports you made are kept without your name so we can finish reviewing them.
Nothing on your device or on anyone else’s device is deleted: characters, maps, campaigns and saves stay where they are. A character you brought into another GM’s game stays in that GM’s campaign unless they remove it. The sign-in token on your device is removed. Uninstalling the app does not delete the online account.
If you cannot sign in
Email game-master-no-reply@netcrawled.com with the subject Game Master account deletion. Send the request from the email address on your account when possible. We verify that the account belongs to you before deleting it, then confirm when deletion is complete. If you are the only member of a group you own, that group is deleted with the account. Never send your password or sign-in codes, and do not post your account email on the public forum.
What this is not
- It is not Steam or Google Play account deletion. Use Valve’s or Google’s own tools for those.
- It does not refund purchases. Refunds go through Steam or Google Play.
- Clearing app storage or uninstalling Game Master removes local files only, not a community account.
See the Privacy Policy for what an account stores.
